ALUVAYA jewellery is designed to be worn often and styled your way. Thoughtful care helps preserve the finish, shine and details of each piece for longer.

Made for Everyday Wear

Our jewellery uses a stainless steel base, with gold-tone styles finished in 14K Gold PVD plating. Silver-tone pieces use a stainless steel finish. Stones, pearls, crystals and other details vary by design and are listed on the individual product page.

Some ALUVAYA styles are designed for regular contact with water, while others require more careful wear. Always check the specifications on the relevant product page before showering, swimming or exposing a piece to water.

A Little Care Goes a Long Way

Even durable jewellery benefits from simple everyday care. To help keep your pieces looking their best:

• Store jewellery separately in a soft pouch, jewellery box or its original packaging when not in use.
• Avoid unnecessary friction, knocks and contact with abrasive surfaces.
• Apply perfume, hairspray, skincare and cosmetics before putting on your jewellery.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to harsh cleaning products, bleach, acetone and other strong chemicals.
• Remove jewellery before saunas, steam rooms or activities where it may be exposed to extreme heat or heavy impact.

Water, Pools & the Sea

If your product is specifically listed as waterproof, it is designed to handle everyday contact with water. After swimming in chlorinated or salt water, rinse the piece with clean water and dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth.

If a product is not described as waterproof, we recommend keeping it dry and removing it before showering, swimming or exercising.

Cleaning Your Jewellery

Regular gentle cleaning helps maintain the natural shine of your jewellery.

For everyday cleaning: wipe your piece gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth. If needed, use a small amount of mild soap with lukewarm water, then rinse carefully and dry completely.

For polishing: use a clean, dry microfibre or soft cotton cloth and polish gently. Avoid aggressive rubbing, especially on plated finishes or delicate details.

Do not use abrasive cleaners, polishing compounds, bleach, acetone or strong chemicals unless the individual product instructions specifically state that they are suitable.

Gold-Tone Jewellery

Our gold-tone pieces are finished with 14K Gold PVD plating over stainless steel. PVD is selected for its durability, but the finish can still be affected over time by friction, skin chemistry and repeated exposure to chemicals.

To help preserve the colour and shine, keep your jewellery clean, store it carefully and avoid unnecessary contact with harsh products.

Silver-Tone Jewellery

Our silver-tone pieces use a stainless steel finish. Clean them with a soft cloth and mild soap when needed, then dry thoroughly before storing.

Gemstones, Pearls & Detailed Pieces

Jewellery featuring stones, pearls, crystals, enamel or detailed settings should be handled with extra care. Avoid knocks, pressure and abrasive cleaning methods.

Do not use ultrasonic or steam cleaners unless the product information specifically states that they are suitable for that piece.

Natural Changes Over Time

Jewellery is worn directly against the skin and is exposed to different environments every day. Skin chemistry, friction, cosmetics, chemicals and frequency of wear can all influence how a finish changes over time.

Gentle care and correct storage can help maintain the appearance of your jewellery for longer.
